Ruud van Nistelrooy's interim spell in charge of Manchester United comes full circle on Sunday as Leicester visit Old Trafford for the second time in 11 days.

The Dutchman's brief reign started with a 5-2 victory over the Foxes in the Carabao Cup fourth round, and United's former striker is aiming to end his stint unbeaten having overseen a draw with Chelsea and victory over Greek side PAOK in the Europa League.

United supporters will soon welcome Ruben Amorim to English shores off the back of the Portuguese coach's triumph over Pep Guardiola and his Manchester City team on Tuesday night, but the new Red Devils boss has his work cut out if he's to oversee a drastic resurgence at the Theatre of Dreams right away.

Van Nistelrooy has so far failed to deviate away from a starting XI we grew familiar with under Erik ten Hag, and here's the team he could pick for Leicester's visit this weekend.

GK: Andre Onana - The Cameroonian shot-stopper continues to impress between the sticks, and heads into this fixture off the back of a continental clean sheet.

RB: Diogo Dalot - The Portuguese international has been a mainstay in United's backline this term, and a lack of alternatives means Dalot is a sure bet to retain his place.

CB: Matthijs de Ligt - De Ligt earned a breather on Thursday as he was an unused substitute in the Red Devils' Amad Diallo-inspired 2-0 win. He'll undoubtedly come back into the team on Sunday.

CB: Lisandro Martinez - Martinez is perhaps fortunate to be available for this clash given the challenge he made on Cole Palmer at the end of last Sunday's uninspiring draw with Chelsea. The Argentine got away with a yellow card, though.

LB: Noussair Mazraoui - The impressive Moroccan was excellent last weekend and will relish being a part of a back four for the last time before Amorim comes in and makes him do wing-backy things.

CM: Christian Eriksen - There could be some midfield rotation on Sunday given Casemiro's recent run in the starting XI. The veteran Brazilian may make way for another experienced pro in Eriksen, who came off the bench on Thursday.

CM: Manuel Ugarte - Ugarte will soon be reunited with former boss Amorim, and United supporters will hope the incoming coach can allow the Sporting iteration of their summer arrival to manifest.

RM: Marcus Rashford - The Englishman may have been sweating while watching Amad Diallo go about his work on Thursday despite the brisk temperatures, but the Ivorian's knock means Rashford spot down the right should be secure. His goal contribution drought continued last week.

AM: Bruno Fernandes - There's no chance of Van Nistelrooy dropping United's talisman - he genuinely plays all the time.

LM: Alejandro Garnacho - This is a big game for Garnacho, who has plenty to prove. Produced a mightily frustrating performance last weekend against Chelsea and must prove he's worthy of a spot in Amorim's front three.

ST: Rasmus Hojlund - The young Dane will relish working under Amorim, but he'll also be sad to see the back of Van Nistelrooy, who's doubtlessly had a big impact on him this season.
