Supporters have now voted on the brand new Manchester City third kit for the forthcoming 2026/27 season, it has been revealed.

In collaboration with kit manufacturers Puma, the Premier League giants invited fans from around the world to take part in an innovative design process earlier this year – a very first for top-level professional football.

Using Puma’s advanced AI Creator tool, supporters were able to generate their own unique concepts for the upcoming shirt, leading to a remarkable number of submissions from Cityzens across the globe.

The hugely popular project marked a major step forward in fan engagement at Manchester City, combining artificial intelligence with the passion and creativity of the club’s global supporter base.

By opening the design process to fans, Manchester City and Puma aimed to blend technology and tradition, producing a shirt that truly reflects both innovation and club identity.

Now, according to the exclusive information of Footy Headlines, the winning design of Manchester City’s 2026/27 third kit – designed by fans and following votes on 180,000 submissions earlier this year – will be announced in the new year.

It has been revealed that the winning design is a mainly white shirt with a navy and sky blue vertical stripe, chosen by supporters as a ‘classic option’ from the AI-designed submissions.

The design’s simplicity and nod to Manchester City’s traditional colours are expected to make it a popular addition to the club’s kit line-up. Fans are likely to praise the choice as a refreshing balance between modern style and nostalgia.

Looking ahead, Puma are expected to officially unveil the new third kit in the summer of 2026, ahead of the new Premier League campaign. The shirt is also expected to be released alongside Manchester City’s home and away editions, completing what is likely to be another highly-anticipated set of designs for Pep Guardiola’s squad.

With Manchester City continuing to push boundaries both on and off the pitch, this fan-driven, AI-assisted approach to kit design could pave the way for future collaborations, giving supporters a lasting voice in shaping the club’s visual identity.
