Manchester City could soon be making a big move in the transfer market. According to Fichajes, the Premier League side is interested in signing Andriy Lunin, the current backup goalkeeper at Real Madrid.
This possible transfer comes at a time when City’s first-choice keeper, Ederson, is considering leaving the club.
Reports suggest Ederson could be on his way to Turkish side Galatasaray, which would leave a space open in City’s goalkeeping department.
Lunin, who is just 26 years old, has not played regularly for Real Madrid because Thibaut Courtois has been the club’s main goalkeeper for several years.
However, whenever Lunin has been given a chance, he has performed well and caught the attention of top clubs across Europe.
His talent and potential make him a valuable option for teams looking to strengthen their squad.

It has been suggested that Manchester City are ready to make a serious offer to bring Lunin to the Premier League. As such, the English champions could offer €45 million upfront, plus another €15 million in performance-related bonuses.
This deal could be enough to tempt Real Madrid into negotiations, although the Spanish giants are in no rush to let Lunin leave.
He has a contract with the club until 2030, and Madrid still see him as a key part of their long-term plans.
On the player’s side, Lunin is open to listening to offers. He knows that at Manchester City, he could get more playing time and take on a leading role, something he is eager for at this stage of his career.
A move to the Premier League would also allow him to grow as a goalkeeper while competing at the highest level.
