Manchester City set sights on exciting winger who is wanted by Tottenham and Villa | OneFootball

Manchester City have set their sights on Paris Saint-Germain winger Ibrahim Mbaye, per Foot Mercato. 

Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa are also exploring a deal to sign him. 

Mbaye has emerged as a transfer target after his impressive displays at the 2026 World Cup. 

He featured four times for Senegal and scored a brilliant goal against France in their first group game. That made him the youngest goalscorer in his country’s World Cup history. 

The teenage sensation also made 31 appearances across all competitions for PSG last season, bagging three goals and two assists.

Man City are in the market for a quality forward as Savinho faces an uncertain future at the Etihad Stadium. 

The Brazilian struggled with fitness issues last season, starting only seven Premier League matches. 

City are open to selling Savinho if a club meets their asking price. 

Mbaye could be a shrewd signing for the English giants. He is comfortable operating on both wings, and boasts explosive pace, excellent dribbling skills and strong ball-carrying ability. 

Despite his age, the Senegal international has proven himself on the international stage. 

A move is unlikely to be easy, with Tottenham, Villa, RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund all keen to sign him.
