Manchester City and England international defender Marc Guehi has teamed up with Toshiba TV to unveil a limited edition ‘Retro Replay’ shirt ahead of a huge summer of tournament football.
Having completed a £20 million switch from Crystal Palace to the Etihad Stadium in January, the 25-year-old solidified his status as an indispensable figure under Pep Guardiola during the Catalan’s final months at the helm.
With incoming manager Enzo Maresca set to begin first-team preparations at the City Football Academy in the coming days, Guehi is hoping to make a significant impact at the summer’s FIFA World Cup in order to impress the Italian coach.
The timing of the release comes as supporters gear up for the highly anticipated North America competition, which kicks off on June 11. And while executives in East Manchester remain focused on squad changes, the majority of players are focussing on tournament work.
Fresh data from technology powerhouse Toshiba TV has revealed that 63% of football fans now prefer watching matches from the comfort of their own living rooms, compared to just 16% who opt for pub environments.
And to celebrate, Toshiba has joined forces with Manchester City’s Marc Guehi and streetwear designers Killa Villa to drop an exclusive, limited-edition ‘Retro Replay’ football shirt, drawing inspiration from Sir Geoff Hurst’s 1966 World Cup hat-trick.
Worn and launched by Guehi, the Retro Replay Shirt adapts classic heritage for the modern generation of fans building their own memories in front of the screen. Reflecting on the campaign, the Manchester City centre-back said: “Some of my earliest football memories are watching big games at home with family and friends, so I know how special those moments can be.
“There’s a real excitement that builds when everyone’s gathered around the TV, especially when England are playing. This shirt is a great way to celebrate that history while connecting it to fans today.
“Hopefully it reminds people of those iconic moments and inspires a few new ones this summer.”

For Marc Guehi, fronting a nationwide rollout serves as a perfect bookend to his opening six months in Manchester, having smoothly integrated into a backline containing Abdukodir Khusanov, Josko Gvardiol, and Ruben Dias in particular.
As the 25-year-old prepares to spearhead England’s defensive line in North America, his focus will temporarily shift away from the restructuring job currently taking place back at the Etihad Stadium.
Guehi is then expected to return to an in-place Enzo Maresca in July or early August and, depending on how far England go in their summer competition, he could be part of the first-team squad that jets off for their tour of Far-East Asia.

Toshiba TV’s latest UF26 and QF26 screen ranges bring the full matchday atmosphere home using advanced 4K UHD, QLED display tech, and immersive Dolby Vision® and Dolby Atmos® setups.
Blending historical football roots with premium streetwear, the jersey features a bespoke crest inspired by the actual audio soundwaves of England’s most iconic moments.
To mark the launch, supporters can head to the brand’s official Instagram page (@toshibatvuk) for a nationwide competition to win the exclusive shirt, signed directly by Guéhi, along with a top-of-the-range television.
While the premium UF26 lineup is available across retail shelves now, the anticipated QF26 range is officially locked in to launch on July 1.
