Amad Diallo - Manchester United
Amad Diallo will miss the match between Manchester United and Brentford scheduled for Saturday, September 27, due to a death in his family. The Ivorian player has been granted leave to join his loved ones during this difficult time.
Amad Diallo will not be included in the squad selected to face Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium. Having appeared on the team sheet for the first six matches of the season, starting five of them, the Ivory Coast international has been excused by the club for personal reasons. Ruben Amorim explained in a press conference that the player is going through a tough period and Manchester United is giving him all the time he needs.
"Amad is not here, a family member has passed away, so we're giving him all our support. We understood it was important for him to have some time and to go home. We're here for him. It's a tough moment and in situations like this, the next match doesn't matter. We can win without Amad and we'll try to win for Amad," said Ruben.
