With the FIFA Club World Cup now behind them, PSG face a key decision: whether to meet Gianluigi Donnarumma’s contract demands. If they decide the asking price is too high, the club may look to sell the goalkeeper this summer rather than risk losing him for nothing in 2026.
Donnarumma still has a year left on his deal, but questions about his long-term future persist. Even so, he turned in a strong 2024–25 campaign, especially in Champions League matches against Liverpool, Aston Villa, and Arsenal, helping PSG capture the European crown.
Despite the ongoing uncertainty, ESPN FC reported that Donnarumma wants to remain in Paris, though Manchester United and Inter Milan are closely monitoring his situation.

The Red Devils’ interest in Donnarumma could grow after hitting a hurdle in their pursuit of Emi Martinez, with Aston Villa’s £40 million valuation of the 32-year-old seen as a major obstacle, according to the Daily Mail.
Marco Conterio of Tuttomercatweb reported Monday that Galatasaray are aiming high. With the Victor Osimhen signing believed to be wrapped up, the club has now set its sights on landing a top-tier goalkeeper—and Donnarumma is the name on their radar.
Galatasaray have reportedly made contact for Donnarumma and are hoping to lure him with a salary similar to Osimhen’s, banking on the fact that his contract with Paris Saint-Germain runs out in 2026. It’s a bold and complicated pursuit, but Galatasaray seem intent on making a major splash.
