Manchester United duo Ruben Amorim and Bryan Mbeumo have been recognised in October’s Premier League awards.

Amorim has won the Manager of the Month accolade, having guided the Red Devils to a 100% record throughout the month. Manchester United beat Sunderland, Liverpool and Brighton in an impressive period, climbing into the European places as a result.

Key to their success was Mbuemo. The summer signing has won the Premier League Player of the Month award for October, after scoring three times and assisting another in three appearances. It’s the first time the Cameroon international has won the award, having led the division for goal involvements.

Elsewhere, Aston Villa midfielder Emi Buendia won the Goal of the Month award, and Burnley shot-stopper Martin Dubravka took home the Save of the Month.
