Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Borussia Dortmund defender Jules Ryerson this summer.
The right-back has emerged as an option for Manchester United amid doubts over the future of Noussair Mazraoui. Ryerson’s reputation has flourished during an outstanding Bundesliga campaign in which the Norway international recorded 15 league assists.
The 28-year-old’s assist haul is bettered by only three players across Europe’s top five leagues this season, Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes, Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise, and Inter Milan’s Federico Di Marco.
According to Sky Sports Germany, Ryerson is on the Red Devils’ radar and he could be available for a reasonable fee.
Dortmund are understood to value the defender, who joined from Union Berlin for just €5m in 2023, at around €30m (£26m). He has two years to run on his contract at the Westfalenstadion.
Dortmund have four-cap Brazil international Yan Couto as a readymade replacement, despite the ex-Manchester City starlet’s mixed time since arriving in Germany.
