Manchester United full-back Riviere signs new long-term deal | OneFootball

Manchester United full-back Jayde Riviere has signed a new long-term contract with the club until summer 2028.

The Red Devils announced the news via a post on their official club website just a short time ago.

Manchester United also have the option to extend the deal by a further year,

The 23-year-old Canadian international full-back joined Manchester United in the January 2023 transfer window and she has gone on to enjoy a successful spell with the club. Riviere has made 32 appearances for Manchester United in all competitions while she was an Adobe Women’s FA Cup winner with the club in 2023/2024. The defender has had to deal with a couple of niggling injuries early in her Manchester United career and there is undoubtedly much more to come from the player in the next three-and-a-half years.

After signing her new deal at Manchester United, Riviere said “I feel the honour of being a Manchester United player every time I step on the pitch, so I’m thrilled that this journey is going to continue.

“Winning the FA Cup last season gave us all a taste of success and I’ll continue to give everything I have to achieve more moments like that for our fans.”

Manchester United are next in action on Sunday evening when they travel to The Etihad Stadium to face Manchester City.
