Manchester United are not prepared to lower their valuation of Marcus Rashford (28),maintaining a firm stance over the forward’s potential permanent transfer to Barcelona, Sky Sports reports.

The England international joined the Spanish side on loan earlier this season, with an agreed option to buy worth approximately £26m (€30m). Reports in Spain suggested Barcelona were exploring ways to renegotiate that fee, but United’s position remains unchanged. The Premier League club are understood to have no intention of revisiting the terms agreed last summer.

Rashford has delivered encouraging returns during his time in Catalonia, scoring 10 goals in 34 appearances across all competitions. His contributions have helped strengthen Barcelona’s attacking depth, while also offering the 28-year-old a fresh platform after a difficult period at Old Trafford.

Despite that progress, his long-term future remains unresolved. Barcelona must now decide whether to meet United’s valuation or risk losing a player who has begun to reassert his attacking influence at a crucial stage of the campaign.

United, meanwhile, appear content to let the situation develop on their terms, reflecting both the player’s pedigree and their belief in his enduring market value as the summer transfer window approaches.
