Ruben Amorim has confirmed that André Onana will start in goal for Manchester United when they host Olympique Lyonnais in the second leg of their UEFA Europa League quarter-final.
Onana has been error-prone for Manchester United this season and was at fault for Lyon’s opener in last week’s 2-2 draw in the first leg of their UEFA Europa League quarter-final. Following that performance, the Cameroonian goalkeeper was dropped against Newcastle United at the weekend with Altay Bayindir taking his place between the sticks. However, Onana will return on Thursday night.
Joshua Zirkzee, however, misses out. The Dutchman is out for the season with a hamstring injury. Rasmus Hojlund will start for the Red Devils up front. The likes of Matthijs de Ligt, Jonny Evans, Lisandro Martinez, and Amad Diallo are all out.
