Manu Koné is once again Manchester United’s top target.
Following rumors circulating this morning that the Roma midfielder wasn’t the Red Devils’ priority, the opposite signals are now coming from England.
According to ‘TeamTalk‘, the English club has reportedly changed strategy, identifying the Frenchman as their main midfield reinforcement.
Koné, currently playing for France at the World Cup, where he will play in the third-place match tomorrow, has reportedly impressed Manchester United scouts with his performances in the United States.
Roma’s position, however, remains clear.
The Giallorossi are unwilling to start negotiations for less than €50 million, a figure considered the starting point for discussing a possible sale of the French midfielder. There are no official offers yet, but Manchester United’s interest could soon become a concrete move.
