Manchester United have been handed a triple injury boost for Saturday’s clash against Everton, with Christian Eriksen, Manuel Ugarte and Leny Yoro all available for selection.
They all missed last week’s 1-0 defeat to Tottenham in London, where United were forced to name eight academy players on the bench.
Speaking ahead of tomorrow’s Premier League affair at Goodison Park, Man United manager Ruben Amorim confirmed a return for the aforementioned trio.
“Yes [better week] because we didn’t lose players, Chris [Eriksen], Manu and Leny will return,” he said.
“With Chris, it was a misunderstanding [mention of his heart after Tottenham], and I want to be really clear on that.”
Despite preparing to welcome back three players to action, United are still without several players through injury, including Amad Diallo.
“Amad is out for a long time,” Amorim added.
“Mase [Mason Mount] continues to make his recovery, Luke [Shaw] as well. Kobbie [Mainoo] seems to be the closest, but not now. Altay [Bayindir] is making the recovery, Tom [Heaton] is making the recovery.”
United will make the journey to Merseyside bidding to avoid a third straight Premier League defeat.
The Red Devils have endured a disastrous league campaign and are on course to finish in the bottom half, barring an exceptional turnaround.
Their best chance of securing silverware and Champions League football next season currently lies in the Europa League.
United have been drawn against La Liga outfit Real Sociedad in the last-16, while a quarter-final clash against FCSB or Lyon awaits if they progress.
