Manchester United have suffered a significant financial setback after unveiling their new training kit for the 2025/26 season without a sponsor.
The Red Devils had a sponsorship deal with Blockchain company Tezos, which was worth around £24 million a year. But their partnership ended on June 30.
According to the Manchester Evening News, club sources suggested a new training kit sponsor would be agreed soon, but they have launched the new shirt without one.
United shared several photos of their first-team players in the new kit on Tuesday, including Mason Mount, Luke Shaw and Leny Yoro.
Alejandro Garnacho also showed off the new colours, despite being linked with an exit this summer.
The news of Tezos’ partnership ending comes shortly after it emerged that Marriott International would not extend its sponsorship deal.
United have been in decline since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013.
They have won the Europa League and two FA Cup titles but have never seriously challenged for the Premier League.
They suffered their worst-ever top-flight finish in the modern era last season, collecting 42 points to finish in 15th place.
Manager Ruben Amorim has been tasked with turning United’s fortunes around and will likely be working with a new-look squad next season.
