Pep Guardiola’s side will make the short journey to Old Trafford on Saturday 17 January, with kick-off scheduled for 12:30 (UK).

We enter the fixture in incredible scoring form following a 10-1 victory at home to Exeter City in the FA Cup third round and a 2-0 Carabao Cup win over Newcastle in our previous two outings.

However, City will be looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League this weekend after drawing each of our last three top-flight matches.

Manchester United, meanwhile, begin Michael Carrick’s tenure as head coach on Saturday following the departure of Ruben Amorim earlier this month.

Without a win in four games, United most recently drew 2-2 away at Burnley in the Premier League and lost 2-1 to Brighton in the FA Cup.

However, derby days are always uncertain with three points and bragging rights up for grabs - and FPL managers will be keeping a keen eye on proceedings at Old Trafford this weekend.

Read our latest Scout report below ahead of Saturday 17 January’s 11:00 (UK) deadline.

CITY STAR

New signing Antoine Semenyo (£7.6m) is the second most owned player in Fantasy Premier League (FPL) behind only Erling Haaland (£15.1m)

This season, Semenyo has registered 15 attacking returns, more than any other midfielder in the game. He is also one of only three players to have scored 10 or more Premier League goals.

City’s January signing is second for shots for midfielders with 49, of which 37 have come from inside the box – more than any other midfielder. He has also created 25 chances.

The midfielder started his first game for City in the FA Cup, marking the occasion with a debut goal before making it two in two when netting in our League Cup win over Newcastle.

ONE TO WATCH

Bruno Fernandes (£9.1m) is Manchester United’s leading scorer, of the midfielders, only Semenyo has more attacking returns than the Portuguese.

DIFFERENTIALS

Spurs’ Dominic Solanke (£7.2m) is a low-owned gem worth considering.

The striker returned from injury in the FA Cup and while he may not start in Gameweek 22, he has an attractive fixture against West Ham, who have conceded the most league goals this campaign.
