Red Devils look to move fifth in the table with win over struggling Cherries

Monday Night Football is back on the docket this evening, with Manchester United hosting Bournemouth in the Premier League. After starting the season so brightly, Andoni Iraola’s Cherries now find themselves winless in six and tumbling to 15th place in the table. That is down in no small part to the faltering form of Antoine Semenyo, who, after hitting six goals in his first ten appearances of this campaign, is now in the midst of a seven-game drought at club level.

The Ghanaian has a penchant for a big occasion, though, and will hope to break his duck at Old Trafford this evening. There remain considerable question marks over Ruben Amorim’s team selection, though. Speaking on Friday, he told the assembled press that he was still unsure whether his AFCON players would be available for selection tonight, given they had been asked to report to their national camps no later than today.
