Two changes from Ruben Amorim for surely must-win game at Old Trafford
Alejandro Garnacho comes back into the starting side as Manchester United host Ipswich tonight.
United are in desperate need of a positive result, with a late comeback to snatch a point against Everton over the weekend doing little to lift the mood.
Ruben Amorim’s side have won just two of their last 10 Premier League matches and currently sit 15th in the table, with little sign that their form is about to improve.
Garnacho was on the bench at Goodison Park on Saturday, but he’s back in the team tonight with Casemiro dropping out and captain Bruno Fernandes seemingly moving to a deeper midfield role.
There’s one change in defence too, with Leny Yoro replacing Noussair Mazraoui.
Teenager Chido Obi got minutes off the bench against Everton, but Amorim does not hand the 17-year-old a first start for the club yet.
Kobbie Mainoo is facing a spell on the sidelines and both Mason Mount and Toby Collyer are still out, leaving Amorim short of options in midfield.
Amad Diallo is expected to miss the rest of the season, while Luke Shaw and Jonny Evans are among the other long-term absentees.
