Manuel Ugarte absent from PSG squad ahead of Manchester United move, Carlos Soler absent as West Ham move nears | OneFootball

Paris Saint-Germain are preparing for their first home match of the 2024/25 season. They will face Montpellier HSC at the Parc des Princes on Friday evening, however, they will do so without Manuel Ugarte and Carlos Soler – two players nearing moves away from PSG. Both have been omitted from the matchday squad.

As per Le Parisien, a deal between Les Parisiens and Manchester United has almost been struck for the transfer of Ugarte. He is set to join the Premier League club in a deal worth around €60m. The finer details are being ironed out before the Uruguay international makes the trip to England to complete the deal.

Soler is another player expected to leave in the coming day, and like Ugarte, he will play no part against Montpellier. The Spaniard is nearing  a move to West Ham, estimated to be worth around €23m. Both Ugarte and Soler have now likely already played their final matches for Les Parisiens.

Other indesirables such as Danilo Pereira, subject of interest from Saudi Arabia, Juan Bernat, subject of interest from Valencia, and Milan Skriniar, who is finding himself also pushed towards the exit, are all also absent from Luis Enrique’s squad.
