Marcos Rocha gets first 2026 Cartola points as all-time lead tightens | OneFootball

Marcos Rocha, Cartola’s all-time leading scorer, finally got on the board in 2026. He took two points in Bahia’s 16th-round draw with Grêmio as his cushion at the top narrowed.

According to Globo.com, Rocha has 1,691.9 career points across more than 300 valid games, and this is his second Grêmio season in the game.

Now 37, he has featured only twice in this Brasileirão. He scored zero in his fantasy opener, then posted his first points on Sunday 17, his lead trimmed from 26.9 to 13.9 this year.

Full-back Reinaldo of Mirassol is the closest challenger. After a standout 2025 above 250 points, he has only 15 from 10 matches so far.

Arrascaeta sits third having topped 300 last year. He is on 57.7 in 2026, currently injured and due back only after the World Cup.

All of the historical top 10 are in this edition. Weverton has 78.2 this year with a 5.21 average, yet Fábio remains the top-scoring goalkeeper overall, six ahead of the Grêmio keeper.

The top 10 features two forwards, one midfielder, three goalkeepers and four full-backs. Nine are over 30, with Gabriel Barbosa the youngest at 29, turning 30 in August.

The ranking covers the last 15 Cartola seasons, from 2011 to 2026, as scoring before that was markedly different and lower. The R17 market closes at 16:59 Brasília time on Saturday 23.
