Olympique de Marseille have received administrative clearance for Habib Beye’s three assistants to start work before Lyon, according to RMC Sport.

Sébastien Bichard, Yann Cavezza and Olivier Saragaglia signed their contracts on Wednesday evening and are now authorised to work with the first team.

The trio have joined the mid-season camp in Marbella and will be on the bench for Sunday’s Olympico against Lyon.

Beye had been waiting for final approval for his preferred staff, a delay that limited the full rollout of his technical structure.

Les Phocéens now face two pivotal fixtures, Lyon with Champions League qualification on the line, then a Coupe de France quarter-final against Toulouse next week.

All three assistants were at Stade Rennais and awaited the termination of their contracts there before linking up at Marseille. Cavezza and Bichard worked with Beye at Red Star from 2022-2024, before the latter oversaw a challenging campaign as Clermont manager in Ligue 2.
