Marseille predicted XI v Lens: Ethan Nwaneri to start over Mason Greenwood in Marseille debut | OneFootball

Olympique de Marseille host title chasing RC Lens in a big clash at the Stade Vélodrome this evening. Lens need a win to dislodge Paris Saint-Germain from the top of the table, while Marseille are hoping to keep pace after falling ten points behind PSG. 

Roberto De Zerbi could hand a debut to Arsenal loanee Ethan Nwaneri, with L’Équipe reporting that the winger is expected to start over Mason Greenwood, who could be resigned to the bench ahead of their Champions League clash on Wednesday. There could also be another debut with Quinten Timber likely to be thrust into the midfield. 

Nayef Aguerd will likely return to the line-up after his involvement with the Africa Cup of Nations ended with defeat in the final for Morocco. There’s also expected to be no place for Neal Maupay or Angel Gomes in the match-day squad, with both players linked with exits this winter.
