Olympique de Marseille have issued a reassuring medical update on Bilal Nadir (21), after the midfielder suffered a health scare during Wednesday’s match against Angers SCO. The Moroccan collapsed during the second half, prompting medical intervention from stewards and OM’s medical staff.

In a statement released on Monday, the club confirmed that Nadir did not lose consciousness at any point during the incident and that his vital signs were normal when assessed by OM’s medical staff and emergency services at the Stade Vélodrome.

As a precautionary measure, the player was transferred to hospital for a full medical examination. His condition is described as “good”, and he remains under observation as the evaluation continues.

Marseille also expressed gratitude to the medical teams for their rapid response and to the supporters for their messages of support following the incident.
