Marseille’s Mason Greenwood rejects Saudi Arabia approaches | OneFootball

Mason Greenwood (24) has rejected approaches from Saudi Arabia this summer, as per a report from Sacha Tavolieri, but the former Manchester United forward is nonetheless expected to leave Olympique de Marseille.

Greenwood, after two seasons at OM, is expected to depart, and, as per La Provence, he has already returned the keys to his house in Aix. However, the Englishman will not be trading the South of France for the Gulf State. Tavolieri understands that the forward has refused significant proposals from Al Ahli, Al Qadsiah, and Al Diriyah. 

L’Équipe, meanwhile, understand that Greenwood has reached an agreement on personal terms with Fenerbahce. However, the Turkish club have yet to reach an agreement with Les Phocéens, crucially. 

There is also interest from AS Roma. Greenwood would be keen on a move to the Italian capital, but, like Fenerbahce, the Serie A giants have yet to reach an agreement with OM, who value their forward at €50m.
