Martin, Rashford And Torres Get 7.5 | Barcelona Players Rated In Impressive Win Vs Real Madrid

Barcelona entertained Real Madrid at the Nou Camp earlier tonight as they looked to secure a win at home in La Liga. The Catalan giants made a quick start to the game and scored the opening goal in the ninth minute when Marcus Rashford got his name on the scoresheet. Ferran Torres doubled his team’s advantage in the 18th minute as Hansi Flick’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.
Barca defended their healthy lead well in the second half and secured an impressive 2-0 win in the Clasico.
Let’s take a look at how each Barcelona player fared during the clash against Real Madrid.
He made one good save at the back and earned an important clean sheet tonight.
RB: Eric Garcia – 7/10
Garcia didn’t do much wrong defensively, but struggled to influence the game going forward.
CB: Pau Cubarsi – 7/10
He gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the field.
CB: Gerard Martin – 7.5/10
Martin was a rock at the back and did well to put his foot through the ball when needed.

LB: Joao Cancelo – 6.5/10
He caught the eye at times on the left flank but failed to make a difference in the final third.
Gavi got stuck in with some crunching tackles and was replaced in the 76th minute.
Pedri came back to defend when he could and was good on the ball.
RW: Fermin Lopez – 6.5/10
He didn’t shy away from having a strike at goal, but failed to take his chances.
CAM: Dani Olmo – 7/10
Olmo caused a few headaches for his marker and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
LW: Marcus Rashford – 7.5/10
He deserves a ton of credit for scoring the opener in the ninth minute.
ST: Ferran Torres – 7.5/10
Torres was a real menace on the offensive end of the pitch and managed to double his team’s lead in the 18th minute.
LW: Raphinha – 6.5/10
He was a threat at times in the final third.
CM: Frenkie de Jong – 6.5/10
De Jong added some creativity to Barcelona’s midfield.
CM: Marc Bernal – 6/10
His impact on the game was minimal.
There was no goal for him tonight.
