Reports in Italy claim that Roma sporting director Frederic Massara is also expected to leave the club after Claudio Ranieri, which would boost Francesco Totti’s chances of returning to the Stadio Olimpico.
Roma are undergoing a major management overhaul, as Senior Advisor Claudio Ranieri is expected to leave the club following a public spat with coach Gian Piero Gasperini.

According to Gazzetta, Roma will confirm Ranieri’s departure on Friday, either with an official statement or through a press conference.
Ranieri’s exit will likely lead to Massara’s departure as well, given that the Roma sporting director is also on bad terms with Gasperini.

The coach expressed concerns about injury management and transfer decisions, and the latest discussions with the club owners have resulted in him prevailing over the club directors.
Gazzetta adds that Massara and Ranieri’s exits will pave the way for Totti’s return to the club.
The Roma legend had dinner with Gasperini in March, and the coach has already confirmed his availability to work with the former striker at the Stadio Olimpico.
