Roma defender Mats Hummels concluded his long and prestigious career tonight as the Giallorossi beat Torino 2-0 to secure a spot in next year’s Europa League.
The German defender was given the opportunity to feature in the final minutes of the match in Turin.

“I don’t know how to feel. I’m happy, sad, full of emotions,” Hummels told DAZN after the match.
“I’m happy with how we managed to reach the Europa League anyway, even if we came close to the Champions League. I’m happy to have taken the field and contributed to the cause.”
“Maybe it’s the best ending we could have achieved this season after such a difficult start,” he added.
