Maxence Lacroix is set to leave Crystal Palace for Chelsea after an eye-catching World Cup with France.
According to L'Équipe, the move, first reported on 26 June, is now in its final phase, with nothing expected to prevent a six-year contract from being signed.

It caps a whirlwind summer for the centre-back, who fulfilled two ambitions by debuting for France and appearing at the World Cup.
Palace signed the former Wolfsburg defender for €18m in 2024. The deal would bring in around €60m, more than triple their outlay.
The France international is 26 and has seven caps.
