Mbappe Gets 8, Mastantuono With 7 | Real Madrid Players Rated In Hard-Fought Win Vs Talavera

Real Madrid faced off against Talavera at the Estadio El Prado earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in the Copa del Rey. Los Blancos made a good start to the contest and got their noses ahead in the 41st minute when Kylian Mbappe scored from the penalty spot. Xabi Alonso’s found themselves with a 2-0 advantage at the half-time break following Manuel Stiepovich’s unfortunate own goal in the first half injury-time.
Nahuel Mazorra got a goal back for the home side in the 80th minute before Mbappe scored again just eight minutes later. Gonzalo Di Renzo scored another goal for Talavera in injury time as Real Madrid ended up securing a hard-fought 3-2 win in the Copa del Rey.

Jimenez looked shaky at the back but was a threat at times going forward.

Carreras did his best to fill in as a makeshift centre-back but struggled to keep the opposition attackers quiet.

LB: Fran Garcia – 5.5/10
He was far from convincing defensively and lacked quality in the opponent’s half.
CM: Arda Guler – 6.5/10
Guler caught the eye at times in the final third but failed to register a goal.
CM: Dani Ceballos – 6/10
He kept the ball moving quite well in the opponent’s half.
RW: Franco Mastantuono – 7/10
Mastantuono put in a good shift on the right flank and caused some problems for his marker.
LW: Endrick – 6.5/10
He got himself into some dangerous areas in the final third but lacked quality in front of the opponent’s goal.
ST: Kylian Mbappe – 8/10
Mbappe scored a brace to help Los Blancos get over the line with a win in the bag.
ST: Gonzalo Garcia – 6/10
He worked his socks off but failed to threaten the opposition goal.
