Real Madrid clashed heads with Villarreal in La Liga earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result on the road. Los Blancos made a solid start to the game and managed to get to the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.

Kylian Mbappe scored the opener in the 47th minute before going on to kill the game off in injury time with a successful penalty. The contest finished with Alvaro Arbeloa’s men securing a solid 2-0 win away from home.

He caught the eye at times on both halves and was accurate with his ball distribution.

Guler was a constant menace in the final third, but there was no goal for him.
