Mbappe Gets 9, Guler With 8.5 | Real Madrid Players Rated In Solid Victory Vs Oviedo

Real Madrid faced off against Real Oviedo at the Carlos Tartiere Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to earn a good result on their travels in La Liga. Los Blancos made a good start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 37th minute when Kylian Mbappe found the back of the net. Xabi Alonso’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 to the good.
Mbappe scored again for the Madrid giants in the 83rd minute before Vinicius Jr. got his name on the scoresheet in injury time. The contest finished with Real Madrid securing a solid 3-0 win away from home.

Courtois made a few solid saves at the back and secured an important clean sheet tonight.

He performed his defensive duties well but offered very little going forward.

Rudiger put his foot through the ball when required and was accurate with his ball distribution.

He dealt with the danger when he could and was a strong presence in the air.

LB: Alvaro Carreras – 7.5/10
He was solid when defending inside his half and was a real threat going forward.
CM: Federico Valverde – 8/10
Valverde controlled the flow of the game well from midfield and did what was required of him defensively.
CM: Aurelien Tchouameni – 8/10
He anchored the midfield with conviction and was not shy of having a strike at goal.
RW: Franco Mastantuono – 6/10
Mastantuono was quiet for most of his time on the field and was substituted after the hour mark.
CAM: Arda Guler – 8.5/10
Guler created a lot of meaningful chances for his teammates to score and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
LW: Rodrygo – 7/10
He was not shy of having a strike at goal but failed to take his chances.
ST: Kylian Mbappe – 9/10
Mbappe was a constant menace in the final third and managed to score a brace tonight.
