The shortlist of nominees in the running to be named Player of the Month at La Liga giants Real Madrid has on Sunday been revealed.

And the list is an inevitably star-studded one.

Real Madrid, all told, took to the pitch on eight occasions across the month of February.

Los Blancos enjoyed, for the most part, a positive time of things, racking up a record of five wins, two draws and a solitary defeat in these eight fixtures.

And as alluded to above, on Sunday, some of the key contributors to as much have seen their efforts recognised.

As per an announcement across social media this evening, the five nominees for Real Madrid Player of the Month for February have been confirmed.

The players in the running for the prize this time round? Luka Modrić, Jude Bellingham, Brahim Díaz, Rodrygo, and Vinícius Jr.

This of course means that there is no room for Kylian Mbappé, despite his heroics against Manchester City in the Champions League.
