Through discipline, perseverance and hard work, the Cueva sisters have become role models and an inspiration for young people across Mexico. Their achievements have not gone unnoticed by Club Deportivo Guadalajara, which invited them to experience the thrill of supporting Chivas at Estadio AKRON in recognition of their recent success at the 2026 Mexico Diving Cup.

Mía and Lía were crowned champions in their event after winning the gold medal, while Suri earned silver, results that have firmly established all three as some of Mexico’s brightest young sporting talents.

Three Chivahermanas at the La Casa de los Mexicanos

Before kickoff of Chivas’ Matchday 2 clash against FC Juárez last Saturday, the three sisters stepped onto the pitch to watch the team’s warm-up from field level. There, they were welcomed and congratulated by Amaury Vergara, who praised their accomplishments and acknowledged the dedication behind their success.

As part of their visit, Mía Cueva participated in El Llamado, Guadalajara’s traditional pre-match ceremony that welcomes the team onto the field before kickoff. The sisters then watched Chivas’ victory over Juárez from a private suite, capping off an unforgettable afternoon at the Fortaleza Rojiblanca.
