Michael Olise ended a mini-drought by putting Bayern Munich 2-0 up at Heidenheim in the Bundesliga.
As reported by L'Équipe, Bayern were clearly on top before the break. The Frenchman struck just after the half-hour.
Inside the hosts’ area, he was alert to a Hiroki Ito cross that deflected off the foot of a grounded Heidenheim defender, then adjusted his body to volley in during the 32nd minute.
Olise, 24, had not scored since 22 November. His previous goals for Bayern came in a wild game against Freiburg, when he netted twice and supplied three assists.
His Bundesliga tally now stands at 15 goals in 14 matches this season.
