Serie A side Milan have done significant business already this summer and could be lining up a formal move for Lazio defender Mario Gila.
A host of Italian clubs have been looking at the centre-back, but Daniele Longo reports the Rossoneri have agreed personal terms with the Spaniard. The agreement is total and Milan now have to beat competition from Atalanta and Napoli.
Alfredo Pedulla has also added information, claiming that Napoli have the player’s preference right now. But the Partenopei can’t sign players until they make sales. This has given a chance to Milan, who have been pursuing the defender since January.
It doesn’t end there as even Luciano Spalletti has spoken to Gila, with Juventus also monitoring the situation.
More than that, Atalanta have agreed terms with Lazio about the transfer. But Gila hasn’t shown openess towards joining La Dea, giving Milan a chance to land him.
There still is quite a bit of noise around the player, which suggests the situation is yet to fully resolved.
