Nenad Krstovic is putting together another solid season and has drawn the interest of Milan, Inter, and multiple foreign clubs. Lecce didn’t need to cash in further in January, but it’ll be hard for them to keep ahold of him next summer, Corriere dello Sport informs (via OneFootball).

The Montenegrin marksman has scored seven in Serie A so far, adding three assists. He’s one of the players who shot the most in the entire league. He has already matched his entire production from his maiden campaign. Betis are very keen on him too, along with a few German and English sides. He had plenty of suitors before joining the Salentini, but he saw the short trip to Italy as the ideal stepping stone for his career.

Inter will have to retool their frontline behind the starters in the summer, while Milan already tabled an offer for Krstovic in the past window, Sky informs. They proposed to acquire him right away and leave him on loan to Lecce.

It happened before they shipped off Alvaro Morata to Galatasaray and signed Santiago Gimenez from Feyenoord. The 24-year-old played for Zeta Golubovac, Red Star Belgrade, and Dunajska Streda before moving to Italy. He has 24 caps and 6 goals with his national team to his name.

Our Take on Krstovic, Inter, and Milan

He’s not a youngster, but he might not be a finished product either yet. He’d easily put up great numbers in a better and more proactive side, but he’d probably be a deputy in a top team. He might be too expensive for that for Serie A’s sides, and he might not like the idea either.
