Both Milan and Napoli have reportedly made enquiries to Roma regarding the availability of out-of-favour Italy international Bryan Cristante, according to reports from Italy on Sunday afternoon.
According to updates from Calciomercato.com, Cristante is one of the players Claudio Ranieri is willing to sacrifice in order to pave the way for new additions over the next two transfer windows.
The 29-year-old is currently under contract at the Stadio Olimpico until the summer of 2027. He currently earns a significant salary of around €3m per season, which is part of the reason why Roma could look to offload him.

According to Sunday’s reports, Giallorossi director Florent Ghisolfi is keen to negotiate with Milan in particular, as Roma could look to involve Cristante in a permanent purchase of Alexis Saelemaekers, who is currently on loan with Roma from the Rossoneri.
Napoli have also made an initial enquiry as they seek to bolster Antonio Conte’s options in midfield.
Cristante has missed the last month of action with an ankle injury, but is currently expected to return to the pitch in mid-January.
