The tension at Milan remains sky high, as ultras loudly insulted patron Gerry Cardinale after their initial protest, then Yunus Musah was hauled off in a tactical change after just 37 minutes against Lazio.
The Rossoneri were already in dire condition after their Champions League play-off elimination at the hands of Feyenoord, followed by two consecutive Serie A defeats to Torino and Bologna.
Ultras left the Curva Sud empty for the opening 15 minutes in protest at recent performances, save for a single banner that read: ‘Only for the shirt.’
When they did flood into the stands, the only chant repeated again and again at full volume was aimed at RedBird patron Cardinale, with the rest of the stadium joining in.
‘Cardinale you have to sell, Cardinale you have to go.’

Things got even worse when Mattia Zaccagni gave Lazio the lead, then coach Sergio Conceicao pressed the panic button by making a tactical change after just 37 minutes, hauling off Musah to introduce Joao Felix.
It was the first time after six consecutive starts in all competition that Conceicao had left Joao Felix on the bench, but did not manage to resist without the Chelsea loanee for long.
There were loud jeers from the crowd at the moment of the substitution, some of that for Musah, some for the coach making the call.
The squad was also jeered off the pitch at half-time with the score still at 1-0 for Lazio.
There were no chants of encouragement throughout the half, only insults.
