Christian Pulisic is now one of the main faces of the AC Milan project. While both his numbers and performances speak for themselves, fellow teammates are now giving the winger his flowers.
AFC Bournemouth midfielder and fellow USMNT star, Tyler Adams, has spoken about Pulisic in a proud and patriotic interview with Men In Blazers.
“An American is the best player in Serie A. What’s the counterargument? It’s incredible. And the fact is, this isn’t his first season. It’s been three seasons already. The stats don’t lie. His performances don’t lie against the strongest teams, the best opponents. He’s always there, ready to give his best.”
After becoming a head turner on the continent with Borussia Dortmund, a mixed spell at Chelsea saw the man known as “Captain America” searching for a bigger role. He found this in Milan.
Initially scoring 15 goals in his first season across all Italian competitions, he beat this tally last term to register 17. Now, at the start of the 2025-26 campaign, he already has six goals in eight games.
Considering the 27-year-old’s trophy haul that includes cups in both Germany and Italy, as well as a Champions League, Super Cup, and a FIFA Club World Cup with Chelsea, Adams makes a solid case for the Hershey native.
“If he’s not already a champion, he’s very close. And I don’t say this lightly, obviously, but how can you deny it? If we call someone a champion who is tied with him in the top scorers’ rankings, why don’t we call him a champion too?”
