Militao Gets 8.5, Mbappe With 8 | Real Madrid Players Rated In Solid Win Vs Espanyol

Real Madrid entertained Espanyol at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier today as they looked to secure a good result at home in La Liga. Los Blancos made a bright start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 22nd minute thanks to Eder Miltao’s effort. Xabi Alonso’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Kylian Mbappe doubled his team’s advantage in the 47th minute as the match finished with Real Madrid earning a solid 2-0 win at the Bernabeu.

Courtois made one solid save at the back and secured an important clean sheet today.

He was a positive influence at both ends of the pitch.

Asencio cleared the danger when required and was tidy with his ball distribution.

He was solid on the defensive end of the field and was a real threat at the other end as well. Militao scored the opener in the 22nd minute.

LB: Alvaro Carreras – 7.5/10
He gave a good account of himself defensively and was a threat going forward.
RM: Franco Mastantuono – 8/10
Mastantuono came back to defend when required and made a lot of good runs with the ball.
CM: Federico Valverde – 7.5/10
He was a positive influence at both ends of the pitch and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
CM: Aurelien Tchouameni – 7/10
Tchouameni anchored the midfield well but struggled to impress in the opponent’s half.
LM: Vinicius Junior – 7.5/10
He was a constant menace in the final third and ended the game with an assist to his name.
ST: Kylian Mbappe – 8/10
Mbappe was a real threat up top and managed to double his side’s advantage early in the second half.

He failed to catch the eye in the final third and was replaced at the hour mark.
