Millwall beat Stoke City 3-1 on Tuesday to move from third to second in the Championship.

In the 20th minute, Camiel Neghli swept the visitors ahead with a left-footed finish into the top left corner.

Anthony Patterson kept the lead intact, tipping away Lewis Baker's drive (41.).

After the restart, Tatsuki Seko hit the post before Femi Azeez doubled the advantage with a low strike from range (55.) after Thierno Ballo's pass.

Stoke were handed a lifeline when Caleb Taylor turned into his own net (60.).

Josh Coburn quickly restored the cushion, finishing from Neghli's cut-back (69.).

The Lions registered 14 attempts, six on target. Stoke mustered 12 attempts and forced 11 corners.
