Dan Ballard will miss Sunderland’s home game against relegation threatened Tottenham on Sunday.
The defender has been out with a hamstring injury which forced him to miss Northern Ireland’s international games.

January signing Wilson Angulo is also still out, along with Jocelin Ta Bi, Romaine Mundle and Bertrand Traore, but in positive news for boss Regis Le Bris, goalkeeper Robin Roefs is ready to return.
“For the players, we have Jocelin Ta Bi, Romaine Mundle, Bertrand Traoré and Simon Moore sidelined for this game,” Le Bris said.
“For Ballard and Nilson, they are close to returning back but it will be a bit short for Tottenham. For the rest of the group, they are available.”
