Mohamed Salah has again admitted he does not know whether he will still be a Liverpool player next season.
Salah was on target in Liverpool's 2-1 win over Lille on Tuesday, becoming the first Reds player to reach 50 goals in European competitions - nine clear of second-placed Steven Gerrard.
Asked whether he will remain with Liverpool beyond this season to try and add to his tally, Salah confessed to Amazon Prime that he still has no idea whether he will sign a new contract to stay at Anfield.
"I'm not sure about that but I'll give it my best," he admitted.
He did, however, hint at a desire to stay as he vowed to try and continue climbing up the club's goalscoring charts.
"Hopefully not the last [milestone] but I'm very proud of it," Salah said of reaching 50 goals. "I wasn't focused on it before the game. [Lille] have a really good game plan and they were unbeaten for 21 games so they're a quite tough team. I'm glad we managed to win that game."
Salah, who now sits ninth on the Champions League's all-time scoring charts with 51, has put plenty of public pressure on Liverpool to meet his demands in talks over a new contract. Such an offer has not yet arrived, however, and Saudi Arabian giants Al Hilal are now reportedly ready to push for Salah's signature this summer.
