Monaco have confirmed Brazilian Filipe Luis as their new head coach.
The club said in a statement he has signed until 2028, with the announcement made on Monday afternoon.

The 40-year-old has been on site for a week. He will work with assistants Ivan Palanco and Antony Santiago, fitness coach Diogo Linhares, and goalkeeping coach Jyri Nieminen. Palanco and Linhares are also former Flamengo staff, like Luis.
As a left-back, he starred for Atlético Madrid and won 44 Brazil caps.
He managed Flamengo from 2024 to 2026, lifting the league title and, in 2025, the Copa Libertadores.
Monaco’s players are undergoing physical and medical testing on Monday and Tuesday before their first training session on Wednesday morning.
