Monaco have entered the race for Guglielmo Vicario, joining Juventus and Inter in the pursuit of the Tottenham goalkeeper.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter lead the chase as they search for a long-term successor to Yann Sommer. The Italian international remains keen on a move to the Nerazzurri, having previously reached an agreement on personal terms during his final days at Empoli before his eventual transfer to the Premier League.
The Cristian Chivu’s side are currently monitoring Tottenham’s precarious league position, hoping a potential relegation for the London club provides an opportunity to secure Vicario on a more favorable financial deal. While Monaco and Juventus represent significant competition, Inter’s long-standing groundwork and the player’s prior willingness to join the club put them in a strong position.
Should the move for Vicario fail to materialize, the management has already identified Real Madrid’s Andriy Lunin as the primary alternative to reinforce the goal.
