We’re in the closing stages of the international break as we also build up to a weekend of action for three of our teams.

Our Men’s, Women’s and Under-18s all play across Saturday and Sunday while our EDS will be busy preparing for next week’s latest UEFA Youth League encounter at Villareal.

MONDAY

Wales v Belgium | 19:45 (UK) | World Cup qualifier

England U21 v Andorra U21 | 19:45 (UK) | UEFA U21 Championship qualifier

It’s third hosting second in Group J of FIFA World Cup qualification on Monday.

Jeremy Doku’s Belgium will travel to Wales for a clash at Cardiff City Stadium in a 19:45 (UK) kick-off.

Belgium can go two points clear of North Macedonia at the top of the table with victory over Craig Bellamy’s men, who are just one point behind and also eyeing the summit if they claim three points.

The group winners will qualify for the World Cup in Canada, Mexico and USA, while the runners-up will participate in play-off matches.

Meanwhile Rico Lewis and Divin Mubama are both set to face Andorra with England U21s.

The 2027 UEFA U21 Championship qualifier takes place at Pride Park Stadium in Derby with a 19:45 (UK) start.

The Three Lions have started their bid for a third straight title with two wins, the second a 4-0 victory in Moldova on Friday, with Mubama bagging two and Lewis completing the scoring.

The holders are a point off the top of the Group D table and would go into first spot with victory two points ahead of Slovakia and Republic of Ireland.

The nine group winners and the runner-up with the best record qualify directly for the final tournament held in Albania and Serbia, while the remaining six runners-up advance to the play-offs.

TUESDAY

Norway v New Zealand | 17:00 (UK) | Friendly

Latvia v England | 19:45 (UK) | World Cup qualifier

Portugal v Hungary | 19:45 (UK) | World Cup qualifier

Italy v Israel | 19:45 (UK) | World Cup qualifier

Erling Haaland will be looking for yet more goals as his Norway side host New Zealand in  a friendly on Tuesday.

Haaland has scored in 10 sucessive games for club and country, his last match seeing a hat-trick in a 5-0 victory over Israel – and all that with a missed penalty too!

The 17:00 (UK) game takes place at Oslo’s Ullevaal Stadium.

John Stones, James Trafford and Nico O’Reilly will look to help England continue their unbeaten record in World Cup qualifying.

Thomas Tuchel’s Three Lions are on a maximum 15 points after five games and top Group K.

They face fourth-placed Latvia on Tuesday at Daugava Stadium in Riga, kick-off 19:45 (UK).

Stones is an established face in the England setup while Trafford and O’Reilly are eyeing their debuts for Tuchel’s men.

Bernardo Silva, Matheus Nunes and Ruben Dias are with Portugal as they too look to continue their faultless start to World Cup qualifying in Group F.

They have nine points from three games and now host second-placed Hungary – five points back - on Tuesday at Lisbon’s Jose Alvalade Stadium, with a 19:45 (UK) start to proceedings.

In the final World Cup qualifier on Tuesday, Gianluigi Donnarumma is with Italy as they host Israel.

Gennaro Gattuso’s Blues are second in Group I behind Norway with a game in hand, victory in this one would put them three points behind Erling Haaland’s side.

The game kicks off at 19:45 (UK) in Stadio Friuli in Udine.

FRIDAY

Pep Guardiola press conference | City v Everton | CFA | 12:30 (UK)

Andree Jeglertz press conference | Newcastle United v MCWFC | CFA | 14:30 (UK)

Pep Guardiola will look ahead to City v Everton in his media briefing on Friday.

The manager will face journalists at 12:30 (UK) at the CFA – and you can watch it live on mancity.com and our official app.

If you don’t get chance to watch it as it happens, we’ll have a video recap for you shortly after the press conference is over as well as written reports.

Our women’s manager, Andree Jeglertz, will also speak to the press on Friday as he previews our away clash at Newcastle United in the League Cup.

He'll talk to the media from 14:30 (UK) and this will also be shown live on our digital estate, with video and written recaps available shortly after for those who miss it.

SATURDAY

City v Liverpool | Under-18 Premier League | CFA | 11:00 (UK) | Live on CITY+

City’s high-flying and big-scoring Under-18s are back in action on Saturday as we host Liverpool at the CFA.

Oliver Reiss’s table-topping Young Blues have a maximum points haul from five Under-18 Premier League games, seeing off Leeds, Sunderland, Blackburn, Wolves and Manchester United along the way.

City are looking for another scalp as we host the fourth-placed Reds at 11:00 (UK) with the game live on CITY+ for subscribers.

After the game, you’ll be able to read a match report, hear from the manager and headline-makers in the clash and enjoy match highlights and a full-match replay.

After that early-morning encounter, our men’s first team are in action at the Etihad Stadium in a traditional 15:00 (UK) kick-off slot.

Under Premier League rules, this day and time are subject to a blackout meaning broadcasters can’t show the game as it happens.

That points to the perfect place to follow the clash with the Toffees being on our digital estate as we bring you our extensive and entertaining coverage.

We’ll get you in the mood well before kick-off with host Cel Spellman joined by guest Joleon Lescott on our Matchday Live Show.

The panel will offer expert insight before, during and after the game.

They will assess team news, run the rule over the first half at the break and react to the result as the final whistle blows.

As well as that, you’ll also get live text updates throughout the day from our journalists at the stadium.

Alistair Mann and Andy Morrison will guide fans through proceedings with live audio commentary.
