Thiago Motta has spoken about the challenge of facing AC Milan today, and he admitted that he wants to see more from his Juventus side.

It has been a really strange season for both Milan and Juventus. Both teams came into the season expecting a Scudetto challenge, but neither has done so so far. The Bianconeri are the only unbeaten side in Italy, however, they have drawn 13 games.

For the Rossoneri, that would be an improvement on the current situation, as they sit seventh, two places behind their opponents this weekend.

Sergio Conceicao will have to deal with several absences, most notably Christian Pulisic and Alvaro Morata, who have both played a substantial amount of minutes this season and since his arrival.

Today, Motta spoke about the differences in playing the Diavolo with and without the Spanish striker, as well as playing Milan generally, and Tuttomercatoweb have relayed his comments.

“The team is doing well and they are preparing for the next match against Milan. Alberto is doing very well and has brought energy and enthusiasm. He will be able to help the team.”

How does Milan change without Morata?

“Ultimately we are talking about high-level players, used to playing high-level matches. The important thing is to be ready to play a great match at the maximum to be able to achieve victory.”

The update on the injured players?

“Dusan will be with the group tomorrow. Bremer, Cabal, Conceicao and Milik will not be there. Dusan spent a period out without participating in the team’s work, recovering from a niggle. He will be available with the group tomorrow.”

What do the precedents against Milan teach us?
