According to Glorioso 1904, Eddy Doué has been registered and could be available for Estrela da Amadora’s trip to Benfica, a potential surprise for José Mourinho.

The 20-year-old defensive midfielder is now an Estrela player and could make his official debut at the Luz. He trained this week under João Nuno and is eligible for selection.

Although not yet unveiled by the Reboleira club, Doué is already in tricolour and will wear shirt number 39. His swift integration underlines an immediate bet on a young talent with elite schooling after several seasons at Paris Saint-Germain, where he played for the European champions’ under-21s.

An agreement with PSG was reached in recent days, allowing him to leave on a free at the end of his contract. The French club have retained a percentage of a future sale.

Doué is a cousin of Désiré Doué, the 2025 Golden Boy winner and a leading figure at PSG. He draws attention for his physical profile and reading of the game.

Benfica host Estrela on Sunday 25 January at 18:00 at Estádio da Luz in the 19th round of Liga Portugal Betclic. The referee has already been appointed.
