A remarkable month, capped with a deserving award. Mike Maignan is November's MVP, recognised as the standout Rossonero in a month of success defined by three vital clean sheets against Roma, Inter, and Lazio. Three wins that allowed Allegri’s side to enter December joint-top of the table with Napoli, all three of which were shaped decisively by the influence of our captain.
Maignan’s performance stood out in every single win: from the penalties saved against Dybala and Çalhanoğlu, to a string of extraordinary stops in the Derby – most notably those on Thuram and Lautaro – and again against Lazio, with his early save on Gila setting the tone. His impact was felt in Parma too, where a superb stop against Pellegrino kept the match level. Mike was everywhere, and indispensable.

As the leader of a defensive unit that continues to grow in confidence (built on his shot-stopping, but also on the qualities of the Tomori–Gabbia–Pavlović trio), Maignan repeatedly rose to the occasion throughout a month packed with high-stakes fixtures. His performances showcased his authority, his technical excellence and his reliability. The award, voted for by Rossoneri supporters on acmilan.com, feels like a natural conclusion.
We’ve spoken about Mike’s month, but it’s also right to acknowledge the teammates he edged out for the monthly honour. Rafael Leão had an outstanding run of form, scoring against Parma and Lazio and supplying the decisive assist for Pavlović against Roma. Davide Bartesaghi shone throughout the month, earning MVP in the win over Lazio, while Christian Pulisic made his mark with the match-winner in the Derby.
