MW33 RSL Fantasy Scouting: Who you banking on in penultimate round?

With Al Nassr sitting out Matchweek 33 after last week playing their fixture against Al Shabab - check out Cristiano Ronaldo’s massive milestone from then - Roshn Saudi League Fantasy managers face another crucial reshuffle heading into the second-last round of the 2025-26 season.

Al Ettifaq were the standout side in the previous gameweek, with five players earning Team of the Week honours following a historic 5-0 win over Al Khaleej - the club’s biggest victory of the campaign and their largest-ever margin against the same opponent.

This week, however, Al Ettifaq face a much tougher challenge against reigning RSL champions Al Ittihad, who also enjoy a Double Gameweek as they take on both their AFC Champions League Elite rivals - we’ve a lovely feature here on former Liverpool teammates doing battle this round - and Al Shabab.

That makes Al Ittihad assets almost impossible to ignore, which is why our recommended squad includes the maximum three players from the Jeddah giants. Good luck!

Goalkeeper

Predrag Rajkovic - Al Ittihad (5.6 million)

The Serbian appears to be rediscovering the form that made him one of last season’s standout Fantasy performers. Rajkovic has produced the highest points return among goalkeepers over the past three rounds, overtaking Mailson and drawing level with Edouard Mendy on 144 total Fantasy points.

Al Ittihad goalkeeper Predrag Rajkovic has found his form once more

--------

Defence

Danilo Pereira - Al Ittihad (6.2m)

The Al Ittihad centre-back continues to set the standard in defence this season. Shielded by Rajkovic behind him, Pereira has become Al Ittihad’s most reliable Fantasy asset and remains the club’s only player to break the 200-point mark this campaign.

Roger Ibanez - Al Ahli (6.6m)

Only league-leading scorer Ivan Toney has outscored Ibanez among Al Ahli players this season. Despite fierce competition, the Brazilian has established himself among the league’s elite Fantasy options at the back and currently boasts the highest ownership among defenders at 47.6 percent. Al Ahli host Al Kholood this round.

Mohammed Abu Al Shamat - Al Qadsiah (6.3m)

Few expected the Al Qadsiah full-back to emerge as one of Fantasy’s breakout stars before the season began, but his 215-point haul tells its own story.

Only Mohamed Simakan has racked up more points among defenders, while his ownership has surged dramatically across the course of the campaign. Al Qadsiah face Al Hazem this week.

--------

Midfield

Julian Quinones - Al Qadsiah (10.4m)

The golden-boot chasing Mexican currently leads all Fantasy players with 317 points, ahead of Toney’s 305. Surprisingly, though, Quinones remains the least-selected player among the top five overall performers, with ownership at just 25.5%.

Against Al Hazem, the Al Qadsiah hotshot has another major opportunity to extend his lead.

Houssem Aouar - Al Ittihad (8.0m)

The RSL title winner has enjoyed a remarkable late-season revival. After failing to hit double digits in any of his opening 18 appearances, Aouar has now delivered 10+ points in two of his past three outings and arrives in excellent form after being named Man of the Match against Damac.

His low ownership of 5.6% also makes him a strong differential option.

Ruben Neves - Al Hilal (8.3m)

With the title race still alive, Al Hilal will once again look to Neves to control proceedings against NEOM Sports Club. The Portuguese maestro is the team’s highest-scoring Fantasy player this season with 256 points and remains central to his side’s hopes of keeping the pressure on at the top.

Khalid Al Ghannam - Al Ettifaq (4.9m)

Perhaps the season’s standout local, the Saudi Arabia international continues to offer outstanding value. Al Ghannam made the Team of the Week for the fifth time last round and remains one of the cheapest players among the league’s most consistent Fantasy performers.

His ownership has doubled to 14.8%, and he already has recent pedigree against Al Ittihad having scored the winner in the reverse fixture in Jeddah.

Attack

Ivan Toney - Al Ahli (11.4m)

The 2025-26 RSL’s most prolific striker recently joined an exclusive list of players to score 30 or more goals in a single season, alongside names such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Abderrazak Hamdallah.

Toney now sits only four goals away from matching Ronaldo’s all-time single-season record and looks well placed to continue his extraordinary form.

Joshua King - Al Khaleej (6.6m)

Al Khaleej travel to already-relegated Al Okhdood, giving their lead hitman another huge opportunity to add to his tally. King has scored five goals in his past four matches and now sits on 19 league goals for the season - just one away from reaching the 20-goal milestone in his debut SPL campaign.

Roger Martinez - Al Taawoun (7.7m)

Al Taawoun’s Colombian hotshot has been one of the league’s most consistent forwards this term and continues to drive Al Taawoun’s push for continental qualification.

Martinez currently ranks fourth in the season’s scoring charts, with 22 goals, ahead of a favourable home fixture against relegation-threatened Al Riyadh.
